"Creedence Clearwater Revival"
-
The album was a mixture of original compositions written mainly by John Fogerty and featured extended , psychedelic workouts of '60s classics "I Put a Spell on You", “Ninety Nine and A Half” and "Suzy Q."
"Bayou Country"
-
This album produced the band’s biggest single “Proud Mary” and begins to reveal the extent of John Fogerty's mythmaking illusions of the Louisiana swamp in his song-writing.
"Willy And The Poor Boys"
-
Although not as strong a hit maker as “Green River”, this album would produce three hit singles, Down On The Corner, Fortunate Son and later a rollicking cover of the traditional song Cotton Fields was released.
"Cosmo’s Factory"
-
Despite all of the changes in the world CCR were still hit makers and "Cosmo’s Factory " would be the band’s tour de force. The album produced four top ten singles, Up Around The Bend, Who’ll Stop the Rain, Travellin' Band and Looking Out My Back Door along with numerous fan favorites including an eleven minute plus cover of "I Heard It Through The Grapevine".
"Pendulum"
-
For the first time no cover songs were included in a CCR album and behind the scenes there was growing tension between Tom and Brother John Fogerty over the direction the band was taking.
"Mardi Gras"
-
In a radical departure from the previous six albums, "Mardi Gras" steered more towards a country sound and only produced one single, Sweet Hitch-Hiker that reached the charts.
